Mindful Reset Counseling

A space to slow down, reconnect, and reset with intention

Life can feel overwhelming when your nervous system is stuck in survival mode. At Mindful Reset Counseling, I help you gently reset by learning how to feel safe in your body, grounded in your mind, and aligned with who you truly are. You don't need to be "fixed." You need space, understanding, and the right tools to come back to yourself. This is therapy for people who are tired of just getting through the day.

About Me

I am a  Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and school counselor based in New Jersey, and the founder of Mindful Reset Counseling.

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from Montclair State University, where I completed specialized graduate-level training in both mental health counseling and school counseling.  My education and supervised clinical experience included working with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life-transition challenges.

My approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and integrative, drawing from DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and holistic practices. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting clients through anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and periods of overwhelm or life transition. At the heart of my work is helping people build emotional awareness, feel more regulated in their bodies, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels grounded and compassionate.

With over 5 years experience across both school and mental health settings, I bring a warm, attuned, and collaborative style to therapy. I strive to create a space where you can feel safe exploring your thoughts, emotions, and patterns at your own pace—while also learning practical skills that support emotional balance and more intentional living.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time in nature, reading, traveling, and being present with my family. I deeply value slowing down, meaningful connection, and creating space for reflection—values that naturally guide the way I show up for my clients.

About
Treatment

Specializing in Anxiety, Depression, Parenting/Postpartum, Couples, Trauma, & Life Transitions Therapy

Anxiety

Anxiety can make life feel like you’re always bracing for something to go wrong—even when everything looks fine on the outside. In therapy, we gently slow things down so your nervous system can feel safe again. Together, we work on understanding your anxiety patterns, learning how to calm the body, and building tools that help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your thoughts and emotions.

Couples Therapy

When communication breaks down, even loving relationships can start to feel lonely, tense, or unsafe. Couples therapy is a space to slow things down, understand each other’s emotional needs, and rebuild trust and connection. Together, we work on healthier communication, deeper emotional intimacy, and ways to feel more supported and understood in your relationship.

Depression

Depression often shows up as exhaustion, numbness, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the life you used to care about. You don’t have to push yourself to “just be positive” here. Therapy offers a space to feel understood, supported, and slowly reconnect with meaning, motivation, and hope—at a pace that honors where you are right now.

Trauma

Trauma lives not just in memories, but in the body and nervous system. You might feel on edge, shut down, or stuck in survival mode even long after the danger has passed. Trauma-informed therapy helps you gently process what you’ve been through, restore a sense of safety, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels steady, empowering, and compassionate.

Parenting/Postpartum

Becoming a parent changes everything—your body, your identity, your relationships, and your emotional world. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or not like yourself anymore, you’re not alone. Therapy can help you process this transition, reduce guilt and burnout, and feel more steady, confident, and emotionally present for both yourself and your child.

Life Transitions

Major life changes—like becoming a parent, changing relationships, or entering a new chapter—can feel overwhelming and emotionally disorienting. Therapy offers a supportive space to process these shifts, reconnect with yourself, and feel more grounded, confident, and steady as you move forward.
